Caravans, Campervans, Motorhomes

Campervans, motorhomes, caravans, converted buses and the like are all welcome at no extra charge. However, if you arrive in one such vehicle, you may not have the freedom to park and camp wherever you choose. The Helpers and Traffic marshals may require you to park and camp on certain parts of the site, especially if the weather has been wet or the campsites are already nearing capacity. So, if you wish to camp with friends, arrive in convoy.

Owing to the TOTAL FIRE BAN conditions, gas cooking is not permitted, so please remove any gas bottles and cylinders before you leave home, as you won’t be able to bring them through the gate.

Lastly, please ensure all glass and ceramic items are removed prior to your arrival.

Please be patient at Reception (it takes longer to safety check campervans, motorhomes and caravans). Note: power and running water (with the exception of free drinking water locations) are not provided at the site. Nor can you dispose of waste water at The Sup’.

Taking a caravan to a festival requires more preparation than simply arriving at the gate, especially when parking areas, fire restrictions, water, and waste facilities are limited.

Checking the vehicle before leaving home can help avoid problems during the trip, from faulty electrical connections and worn tyres to damaged fittings or equipment that may not work properly once you are away.

A caravan that has been sitting unused for some time may also need attention before it is ready for another journey. This is where caravan repairs become part of getting ready for the next adventure, with checks and maintenance helping ensure that important parts of the vehicle are safe, secure, and working as they should.

An experienced team and a properly equipped workshop can handle different repair needs, allowing owners to deal with issues before they become inconvenient while travelling.

Taking care of these details in advance makes the arrival and camping experience easier, leaving more time to enjoy the event rather than dealing with avoidable problems.

If you’re planning on bringing a bus, please read the Chartered and Private Buses page for info and site directions.
